A personal project made in collaboration with Julie Wilkinson from Makerie Studio.

After working together on a number of dental-related projects over the last couple of years, we wanted to do something a bit more playful with the theme — especially considering the fact that I had somehow ended up with a ridiculous amount of real human teeth.

We landed on the concept of the something in resemblance of the tooth fairy — not the sweet, sparkly version, but one dropped into a slightly absurd, off-kilter world. Julie, a scalpel-wielding genius, handcrafted most of the prop from scratch, while I brought the scenes to life through lighting and photography.

The result is a small, strange universe built on candy, money, glitter, and… teeth.
