When Elixir rebranded to Face Formula, they wanted a fresh visual identity that felt relevant and distinct from the overly polished look so common in the skincare industry. I was brought in to create imagery that aligned with this shift – something more tactile, raw, and visually current.
Together, we landed on a look inspired by darkroom prints – a moodier, analog aesthetic that stood in contrast to the usual high-gloss perfection. The result was a series of still-life compositions and close-up texture shots, designed to reflect the brand’s new direction with more honesty and depth.
